Open Arms Children’s Foundation (OACF) is a registered Canadian charity that is committed to raising funds to improve the lives of orphaned children in China, with a focus on medical and educational services.

These voiceless and disenfranchised children of China, who have no families to provide essential love and nurturing, are often without the basics of even a primary education and the important stimulation that young children need to develop normally. OACF is making a real difference in Yibin, in Sichuan province and at the Hope Foster Home in Beijing. We are also supporting 10 orphans in partnership with Fu Hui Canada, paying for schooling and boarding in Sichuan province.

On Saturday, November 7, 2009, OACF is holding its sixth annual Silent and Live Auction at the Bata Shoe Museum in downtown Toronto. The Bata Shoe Museum is a corporate sponsor of the event. Our target is to raise $25,000. This amount will enable several children to receive much needed surgical procedures and will continue to support the infant stimulation and toddler programs that have already been successfully initiated.

Would you consider donating a product or service? Receipts for donations will be issued as per Revenue Canada regulations. Your business will be recognized in publicity materials as well as on the evening of the event.
